GP Surgeries / Practice Managers
GP surgeries register FREE to use gplocumDirect.co.uk
You will get instant accesss when you register, click on the [Practice Login | Sign Up] link.
Select Sign Up, complete the form and you will be registered and able to view locum availability. It is important to provide an email address to retrieve lost passwords.
GP Surgeries can sign up for multiple accounts. (Different users within the surgery) - Please note usernames are unique so if you are unable to sign up with a username try a alternative username.
Once logged in the first thing you need to do is set your County - you will be directed to this page. A great new feature is the ability to see who is online, and you can send that person an instant message by clicking on their name.

Text messaging is by far the quickest, most time and cost effective method to communicate.
gplocumdirect.co.uk
now incorporates SMS in it's availability calendar. When you click on a sessional GP's info page you will be presented with a
text area to send instant messages to the locum's mobile phone.
Click the SMS link in at the top of the page to see the status of your messages and manage your SMS account.
The cost to your practice is 17p per message. There is no need to pay in advance, you will receive and invoice via email. Payment can be made by cheque or Debit or Credit Card using a secure server.
The SMS link gives you access to all the messages you have sent, including delivery
status. The payment history link on this page shows an up to date account balance.

These posts will triage all requests for a medical admission, provide a GP clinic service when appropriate and will work within an evolving primary care service based within the acute provider hospital. It also has a clear responsibility for identifying gaps in provision and supporting developments to ensure optimum service delivery over time.
The General Practitioner will be based within the Emergency Department (ED) and Medical Assessment Unit (MAU), working within a multi disciplinary team to ensure appropriate care is delivered in the right place, at the right time.
The posts are part-time working up to 9 sessions per week, and we anticipate that the successful applicant will want to spend part of his/her working week in a GP Practice.
Flexibility, commitment and dedication to excellence are essential. Excellent inter-personal skills and tact are also essential.
